To cater for products in the convenience food sector (ready or frozen meals, portion packs), Wipak offers a broad range of lidding films (top webs) and flexible thermoforming laminates and barrier films. Our multilayer films based on polyamide/polyethylene, which can also be produced with a polypropylene sealing layer, can be supplied with or without a barrier. Our Combitherm range includes a wide variety of special-purpose films plus sterilizable/retortable and temperature-resistant grades for packaging ready meals. Combitherm is available in various thicknesses as a top or bottom web for vacuum pouches in the deep-frozen segment.
