Wipak offers a broad range of tear tapes for different types of films, package designs and applications. Individual types are available in addition to the standard product range.

 

Carrier materials, sealing media and dimensions of Walotape tear tapes are adapted to common packing systems. They are suited for use with wraparound packs, bottles, labels and tubular bags. The colours (red, gold and golden central line) harmonise with almost any package design.

 

The selection of a suitable tear tape largely depends on the functionality and the properties of the film. Most important criterion: the tape must be integrated with the relevant sealing layer or must behave homogenously and must produce a close composite with the sealing.

 

The choice is yours in terms of configuration. Walotape tear tapes can be applied either by means of heat or by means of pressure. Your technical requirements will be addressed. The tapes are either transparent or can be printed in various colours with any print layout – e.g. with a thin central line.
