Located in Finland, the plant was set up in 1989 under the name of Oy Avanspack and it became part of the Wipak Group in 2007. With 56 employees it specializes in laminating, slitting and rewinding as well as in the high-quality printing of packaging films, predominantly for high-end food applications. The production site has benefited from continuous capital investments in its machinery and processes. A recent example is the new exhaust air treatment system which came on stream in the summer of 2007. Early in 2009 a new state-of-the-art printing line was installed, enabling Wipak Avans to enhance its Avance Flexo Gravure print offering.
